This week is SnowReach - that fun old time that we bounce into the cold wilderness of Chautauqua Hills and enjoy late evenings (and late mornings) of games and Bible study. A little indoor rugby bball is alway fun and the on-going challenge of signs and mafia is always a wonder to behold. for those who are attending don't forget: a 2 liter soda a bag of chips to share a sleeping bag pack in a small duffle bag a flash light would be good a Bible a pen and notebook winter clothes - it is still very much winter up there your favorite game to play and an expectation to enjoy the presence of God. The Psalms come alive in such a place as Chautauqua. The clean crisp air is splendid, and the snow piled high is like a cloud on the ground. It is a real touch of Heaven in its silence and in its majesty. We learn much of God's patience and kindnesss when living out the Psalms in a place like that. God's truth is astounding and can affect us in fantastic ways. I hope you will join us by emersing yourself in the Psalms this week and seeking what it is that God would speak into your heart. Let the crispness of His spirit and whiteness of His holiness impede upon your life today. |
